Hi! My name is Adele Beverley, and I am a professional pet artist living in Cambridgeshire, England. I have always loved to paint and draw,  I have done it for as long as I can remember.    I became more interested in art whilst studying it for A-Level.  One afternoon I saw the artist Bob Ross on television and was amazed by his techniques.  He could 'whip' up masterpieces in minutes!  I purchased his kit and started producing landscape paintings in oils.  This was my first venture with oils. I gave them as gifts to family members and friends, who were astounded that I did them.   Over the years I painted more paintings as gifts, from landscapes, to people and then eventually pets.  I realized this was the subject I wanted to pursue.  I now take commissions all over the world.

I am a huge animal lover, from the small to the big, and I love capturing the essence of the animal onto canvas.  Each animal has a distinct personality that I love to capture.

Besides from pet portraiture, I love travelling, I try to get over to Vancouver in Canada as often as I can.  It's the most beautiful city in the world.  I also love the countryside, hiking, the theatre and spending time with my nephew and with the three children I part time 'nanny' for.  I have been with the same family for 12 years and love them dearly.  Now they are at school I have more time to concentrate on my pet portraiture.  The two fit in very nicely.

I almost forgot to mention that I am owned by a three-year old yorkie called Alfie.  I love him to bits.  He's always right there beside me as I work on commissions.  My faithful friend!
